Gori Nagori is an Indian dancer who is popular in India with the name Rajasthani and Haryanvi Shakira. She was one of the contestants of the Indian reality show Bigg Boss Season 16 in October 2022. This show was aired on Colors channel.

Gori Nagori was born as Taslima Bano on Thursday, 11 June 1998 (age 24 years; as of 2022) in Nagaur, Rajasthan, India. His real name is Gori Malik. His zodiac sign is Gemini. He completed his schooling from Ghotia Higher Secondary School, Nagaur, Rajasthan. Later, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Jai Narayan Vyas University in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. According to Gori Nagori, she loved dancing since childhood and started practicing dance while watching it on television. In a media interview, she revealed that her family was against her decision to become a dancer and used to scold, abuse and lock her in a room so that she could not learn dance. He further said in the same discussion that people around him started telling him that his dance was obscene and reflected his bad character. He remembered,
My family was totally against my dancing and even people around us told me how vulgar it was and how it reflected my bad character. However, I never took any criticism seriously and thus continued with my plans. I started getting small shows, which soon became big. I have always fought against people’s perception of artists.”
When she studied in 8th grade, she performed in her school’s cultural program and the program was attended by her father. She won the dance competition and her teachers praised her for her performance. Since then his father started supporting him, but his mother did not like his dancing. However, she kept practicing dancing steps at home and started performing in local dancing shows on many popular Rajasthani and Haryanvi songs. Gradually he gained immense popularity in both the states.
