The Muspelheim Kingdom’s volcanic ash hides two of these chests next to traces of challenges the player encounters as they traverse the area. God of War: RagnarokDuring battle, the two Nonier Chests here provide additional rewards for traveling here and participating in Difficult Challenges.
Once the player is inside God of War: Ragnarok, the Nonier chest at this location is located inside the Flaming Cliffs, in front of the Alchemy Furnace. Kratos’ third weapon, the Draupnir Spear, may not be necessary to complete the puzzles involving these chests, but access to the treasure area is required. While one of the chests has a puzzle that requires the use of Chaos Blade to unlock, the other chest is more related to the combat challenges indicated by the Sword of Surtur buried throughout the map, giving the player Play different types of challenges.
Use Runed Arrow on burning cliffs
Similar to solving other Nornir Chests God of War: RagnarokIn the realm of Svartalfheim, the Nornir Chest of Burning Cliffs requires three braziers to be lit through the Chaos Blade, which the player can aim chains with L2, then launch them forward with R1 and enter with R2. Marked arrows create purple bubbles that expand the radius of these flame explosions and link together to reach further from the brazier. The chest can be opened with the Draupnir Spear, detonating part of it on the specified lava rock to the right of the lava player.
A brazier is placed directly above the Nonier Chest, which the player can light within reach. Others require the use of the Sigil Arrow, both of which can be seen quite far behind the treasure. Unlike the Molotov cocktails required for the Nornir Chest in Midgard God of War: RagnarokNot only can these imprinted arrows amplify the blade’s firepower on their own, they can at least amplify it to the first brazier seen on the opposite side of the opening. The final brazier is better seen outside the chest area, slightly to the right, near the flaming path that the player cannot pass. Using more Sigil Arrows can unlock chests through the Ultimate Coal Furnace, giving the player an Apple of Eden or a Bloodbee Horn.
Take on combat challenges in The Crucible
The last Nonier Chest can be easily found in Muspelheim, as it is located in the center of the arena not far from the Mystic Gate. However, this time there is no Coal Furnace as the player must complete six Hard Challenges around the area to unlock the chest.
