“I think it’s definitely not a given,” Shawn told Collider of the sequel plans. “We love Free Guy and the love for free boy that has resonated in aftershocks, so to speak, in recent years. That’s been exciting for Ryan. [Reynolds] me too. We are developing a sequel, but the truth is that now you have Barbie that has obviously left an imprint on a character in a fictional world who comes to self-awareness.
