Farid Karachiwala was born in Mumbai. In 1993, he did his schooling from The New Era High School, Panchgani, Maharashtra. In 2000, he did BLS and LLB, a five-year course from Government Law College, Mumbai. Since childhood, Farid wanted to become a lawyer. While attending college, he worked in his father’s law office which eventually helped him.

In 2006, he was hired by Wadia Gandhi, one of the oldest law firms in India. Later, he became a partner in the firm.
