Priyanka Reddy – Death
On Thursday morning, she was found dead with her body partially burnt under the Chatanpali bridge in Shadnagar. According to police evidence, it was clear that Priyanka was raped, suffocated and then burnt by four men. The men were said to have come from Narayanpet. They were arrested by the Cyberabad police on Friday. Their IDs are Mohammad Areef, who was a driver, Jolla Naveen, who was a cleaner, Chennakeshavulu, who was also a cleaner, and Jollu Shiva, who was a driver.
Police said that the criminals who were drinking alcohol at Shamshabad toll plaza were watching Priyanka parking her scooter and were also planning to rape her. And one of them, Jolla Naveen, punctured the rear wheel of Priyanks’ scooter. When the doctor returned to take her scooter around 9:18 p.m., she realized that the scooter’s tires were flat. The main criminal, Areef, used the excuse of fixing the scooter. Then Jolla Shiva took the scooter from her, with the excuse of repairing it, he came back after a while and said that the shops were not open.
The police claimed that the accused then raped the doctor, who died because the accused had covered her mouth and nose while committing the crime. The four men then wrapped his dead body in a blanket, took it to Shadnagar and burnt the body. Cyberabad police commissioner VC Sajjanar said, “Our officer took them to a patrol car and scanned the CCTV footage. The victim was also present in the CCTV images of the square. Around 3:00 p.m., the family was taken back to file an official complaint. Until five in the morning we searched all the puncture shops. The body was found around 7 in the morning.”

The Daily Mail quoted his sister as saying of the police response: “We wasted a lot of time moving from one police station to another. “If the police had acted without wasting time, at least my sister would have been alive.” Speaking to The Times of India, her mother called for the criminals to be burned alive in public. She said: “My daughter was very innocent. “I want the accused burned alive.”
Furthermore, the National Commission for Women (NCW) demanded a separate discussion headed by a member of the commission. NCW president Rekha Sharma called for strict action by police and judiciary against criminals. After investigation
According to Shamshabad DCP Prakash Reddy, the police had taken the criminals to the spot where they had burnt Priyanka Reddy with the help of kerosene. Police officers along with the criminals went to the area and we are investigating what was happening at that time. There the criminals tried to take his weapon and flee. She even shot at the police. Therefore, in self-defense, the police started shooting, which also claimed the lives of the 4 criminals. In conclusion, Sirbarabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar said that the 4 criminals were killed in an encounter at Chatanpali in Shadnagar between 3 am and 8 am on Friday.
A senior police officer said two of the policemen were injured in the incident. After receiving the good news of the encounter, Priyanka’s father said, ‘It has been 10 days since our daughter was killed. Congratulations to the Telangana government, police and people who helped me. Likewise, Priyanka’s sister said, ‘All the accused died in the encounter. I’m so happy. This would be an example, hopefully it will not be repeated in the future. I want to thank the Telangana police and government.’ There was a large crowd of people present at the place where the police charged the 4 criminals.
When the policeman and Commissioner Gentleman reached the situation, people praised the DCP-ACP Zindabad. The policeman was under the shower of flowers.
