Emile Morel, creative director of Beyond Good and Evil 2, was a talented game designer at Ubisoft. He died when he was 40 years old. The late designer was devoted to his work. He started his career at Eden Games.
Morel worked as a level and game designer at Eden Games during the pre-production of Alone in the Dark for PC and Xbox 360. Emile was one of Eden Games’ senior game designers in the late 1990s, contributing to the development of Testa Drive Unlimited and Alone in the Dark: Inferno, the PlayStation 3 version of the game. After joining Ubisoft in 2009, the skilled designer worked on Rayman Legends and Rayman Fiesta Run. He took over as creative director of the game after Jean-Marc Geffroy left; he previously worked as an assistant creative director on a project that has now been in development for over 15 years.
