Elle MacPherson reveals she didn’t really love modeling

Elle MacPherson opens up about her true feelings about modeling, the profession that brought her into the spotlight.

The 59-year-old was a guest on the ITV show. This morning (via Daily Mail) recently where she opened up about her career and admitted that she “didn’t love modeling, but I love what modeling brought me.”

Elle explained that she loves “creating images, producing, directing art and watching magic come to life and it has been a beautiful means to an end for me because I travel, I am independent and I have had a powerful career because of it.”

When asked if modeling was the key for all the doors to open for her, Elle adds that she thinks “it’s about us going through those doors, those doors can open, but leaning on your heart, trusting your intuition and saying: ‘This feels good.’ I’m going to take a step towards it.”

Elle’s main goal in entering the model was to pay for her education for law school.

“My stepfather was a lawyer and I thought it was a very practical and stable career, but then life took me in a different direction,” he says. “I wanted to be financially independent and [modeling] It paid better, I worked in a pharmacy and in a bar and it seemed like they paid better, so I listened to my heart and took a step towards it.”
