A group of celebrities will appear to fight anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-drag legislation with Dragging is not dangerousstarting tonight (Sunday, May 7) at 7pm ET!
The event can be streamed at dragisntdangerous.com, with tickets priced at $20.
The online telethon seeks to raise funds for LGBTQ+ causes and drag queens, and features drag stars and allies performing in a mix of live and pre-recorded appearances.

Bob the Drag Queen, Jinkx Monsoon, Trixie Mattel, Peppermint, Eureka O’Hara and Divina De Campo are among the drag royalty to appear.
Charlize Theron, Melissa McCarthy, Billy Eichner, Ali Wong, Adam Lambert, Amy Schumer, Jesse Eisenberg, Leslie Jones, Margaret Cho, Elizabeth Banks, Kelly Osbourne, Orville Peck, David Cross, Amber Tamblyn, Whitney Cummings, Marcia Gay Harden and Sarah Silverman is set to star.
“The recent demonization of drag culture has been very disturbing and completely shocking to me. I have had the pleasure of meeting many drag performers, including one of my idols, the incomparable Trixie Mattel, over the past few years,” said Jesse Eisenberg.
“We are sick of it. These bans are not just for trans people or drag performers. It is a systematic subjugation of LGBTQ people. Through the Drag Isn’t Dangerous campaign, we want to show that drag performers are not dangerous hairdressers, sexual deviants, criminals or whatever the latest evangelical insult of the day is,” added Producer Entertainment Group co-founder Jacob Slane.
“We want to raise awareness and funds to make a difference in the lives of LGBTQ people who are under attack.”
Peppermint and comedian Justin Martindale will host the telethon.
