I am heartbroken that a man as great and spiritual as Dr. Michael Heiser has passed away and failed to keep up with the trend. Isaiah 57:1-2 The righteous are lost, and no one notices; godly people were taken away, and no one understood that the righteous were taken away from evil

Dr. Michael Heiser’s Prognosis of Pancreatic Cancer
In 2020, Michael S. Heiser was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He was taken to the hospital last month and his wife, Drenna Heiser, posted an update on his condition on Facebook. Drenna noted that she noticed differences in Heiser’s health after Christmas, including changes in his vitality, stamina, hunger, and appearance. According to reports, his health worsened on New Year’s Eve, so he was taken to the emergency room thinking he was exhausted. Drenna wrote, revealing what the ED doctor had to say:
“Mike has about four pints of blood in his body when he should be 12-14 points for a man’s height, according to the emergency physician. This is astounding, to say the least. A blood transfusion was required. He received three doses on Sunday and felt much better almost immediately!”
Michael needed two more units of blood due to insufficient hemoglobin. She said that doctors are trying to determine the reason for the blood loss and restore the hemoglobin. Drenna continued, saying he is in good shape:
“Our prayerful wishes are for a stable blood count, identification of the cause of blood loss, improvement in hunger and vitality, and timely discharge for appointments with the Mayo Clinic on Thursday. We greatly admire you and appreciate all your prayers, messages, thoughts, support and encouragement since the news of Mike.”
On January 22, 2023, Michael revealed on Facebook that his cancer was terminal and significantly affected his upper gastrointestinal tract and abdomen, resulting in heavy bleeding. He claimed that there was no cure and that during the final endoscopic examination, specialists tried to cauterize the bleeding sites to slow the bleeding.
