Dr. GV Krishna Reddy has worked on various infrastructure projects and has completed the construction of Jegurupadu, India’s first independent power project in Andhra Pradesh, India’s first six-lane expressway connecting Jaipur-Kishangarh-Rajasthan in record time and the renovation of Mumbai and Important projects like modernization have been completed. It has not only provided emergency services but also generated employment for more than 50,000 people. With its 14,000 state-of-the-art ambulances, it has successfully helped provide services to approximately 850 million people and saved millions of lives every year.
In July 2016, in collaboration with the Government of Sri Lanka, Dr. GV Krishna Reddy successfully launched 1900 Suwaseriya Seva aka GVK EMRI Lanka with the help of the Government of India. Within two years, the Sri Lankan government expanded its services throughout the country. Dr. GV Krishna Reddy has been actively involved in providing GVK EMRI services to various communities.
Keeping in mind his love for lawn tennis, his foundation has started a tennis academy in Hyderabad to encourage people to learn and play lawn tennis. He even donated a part of his ancestral property to provide funds for the construction of ‘GVK Chinmoy Vidyalaya’, a CBSE affiliated school run by Chinmoy Mission in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, his Foundation has provided funds for the establishment of a state-of-the-art Radiology Department at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nellore.
