Douglas Anthony Ducey (born April 9, 1964) is an American businessman and politician. He is the 23rd governor of Arizona and former CEO of the ice cream company Cold Stone Creamery. Ducey was CEO of Cold Stone Creamery from 1995 until 2007, when he and his business partner sold it. He served as Arizona State Treasurer from 2011 to 2015. Ducey was elected Governor of Arizona on November 4, 2014, and took office on January 5, 2015. He was re-elected in 2018.

In April 2019, he approved legislation repealing sex and health education regulations that prohibited the “promotion” of homosexuality as a viable “lifestyle.” Ducey has expressed his desire to be re-elected for a second term in 2018. Ducey was re-elected in November, defeating Democratic candidate David Garcia.
