For Brain, we upgraded him by putting him in the body of a cyborg so they could travel around as a couple. General Immortus was also there. Not necessarily the villain, but Batman was definitely the villain in our first edition. Like other superheroes, when they met the Green Lantern in season three, it was a hostile relationship. They did not join forces to save the situation. They often step on their toes or irritate them in some way.

However, Culver hinted that villains weren’t the only thing the Doom Patrol had to worry about. The author mentions that in the first issue of the miniseries, the world’s strangest heroes will come to Gotham for business and encounter Batman. The Dark Knight won’t be the team’s only headache, as the Doom Patrol will also face off against the Green Lantern Corps in season three. With the Doom Patrol now on a new mission to save the superheroes of the DC Universe, the heroes may not be ready for them.
