Disney+ just shared some interesting news for doctor who fans!
The streamer, which is the hit series’ new global home outside of the UK and Ireland, revealed the release dates for the next three 60th anniversary specials.
David Tennant returns as the Doctor, along with Catherine Tate as his companion Donna Temple-Noble.

The upcoming specials will reunite the Fourteenth Doctor (Tennant) and Donna Temple-Noble (Tate) as they come face to face with their scariest villain yet: the Toymaker (Neil Patrick Harris).
They will also star in the specials Stops the heartYasmin Finney as Rose Temple-Noble, Miriam Margolyes as the voice of Meep and Ruth Madeley as Shirley Anne Bingham, as well as Jacqueline King as Sylvia Noble, Karl Collins as Shaun Temple and Jemma Redgrave as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart.
The first special, “The Star Beast,” will premiere on Disney+ on November 25, the second, “Wild Blue Yonder,” premieres on December 2, and the third, “The Giggle,” premieres on December 9. Check out a new trailer here!
Following the specials, Ncuti Gatwa takes on the role of the Fifteenth Doctor for the festive period and the new season, which will air on the BBC in the UK and Ireland, and stream on Disney+ globally in 2024.
