Dinesh Kumar is an Indian lawn bowls player. He came into limelight in August 2022 when he created history along with his teammates Navneet Singh, Chandan Kumar Singh and Sunil Bahadur by winning the silver medal in the Lawn Bowls Fours event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham. In the final, the Indian lawn bowls team lost to England 5–18 at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa.

In the same year, he competed in the triples events at the Commonwealth Games held in Delhi, India. In 2014, she competed in the pairs and fours events at the Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow. During the four events, the Indian lawn bowls men’s team lost the bronze medal to Australia in the playoff match. In 2018, he competed at the Commonwealth Games held in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia and competed in the triples and fours events. In these games, the Indian lawn bowls men’s team lost to Wales in the quarter-finals. In 2019, she competed at the Asia Pacific Bowls Championships held in Gold Coast, Queensland and won a bronze medal in the triples event. In 2020, Dinesh Kumar participated in the World Outdoor Bowls Championship held in Australia.
