Dinesh Kumar is an Indian lawn bowls player. He came into limelight in August 2022 when he created history along with his teammates Navneet Singh, Chandan Kumar Singh and Sunil Bahadur by winning the silver medal in the Lawn Bowls Fours event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham. In the final, the Indian lawn bowls team lost to England 5–18 at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa.

During the four events, the Indian lawn bowls men’s team lost the bronze medal to Australia in the playoff match. In 2018, he competed at the Commonwealth Games held in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia and competed in the triples and fours events. In these games, the Indian lawn bowls men’s team lost to Wales in the quarter-finals.
