Meghan Markle didn’t attend King Charles’s coronation on Saturday (May 6)… or did she?
The Duchess of Sussex, 41, has chosen not to travel to the UK to attend her father-in-law’s big day. Instead, she stayed home in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Her husband, Prince Harry, made a quick trip to see his father formally ascend the throne alongside his stepmother, Queen Camilla, before heading home to celebrate their son’s fourth birthday.
However, there was a wild rumor online suggesting that Meghan had attended the event in costume.

Some fans took to Twitter trying to identify a man in the audience at the coronation. With long hair, a mustache and dark glasses, people weren’t sure who he was at first, leading fans to joke that it was Meghan in disguise.
“That’s Meghan Markle in disguise” someone tweeted. another claimed that the look “almost had [them] cheated.”
I don’t know much about #Coronation. But I know this is Meghan Markle in disguise.” another Twitter user opined.
Of course, the rumors are absolutely false. He New York Post identified the man in question as Sir Karl Jenkins, an acclaimed composer from Wales. He even had a role in the ceremony.
