Stephen and Robbie Amell are back for the next one Code 8 Part II!
The actor cousins have just announced the release date of the sequel, just over four years after the release of the first film.
If you remember, the actors raised funds for the first film through a crowdfunding campaign, but after its release on Netflix, it became a hit and a sequel was greenlit in 2021.

“Hello everyone! We have some interesting news to share about Code 8 Part II”Robbie begins in the announcement video. “The film will premiere globally on Netflix on February 28.”
“We wanted to give a special shout out to our Day 1 Code 8 fans,” Stephen added. “Without you, none of this would have been possible. “We can’t wait for you to see what comes next in the sequel.”
Here’s a synopsis: Connor (Robbie Amell) is out of prison and working as a janitor at a community center, having cut ties with his former criminal partner Garrett (Stephen Amell). Connor’s attempt to stay out of trouble is ruined when he is forced to help 14-year-old Pav (Sirena Gulamgaus) escape a group of corrupt officers led by Sergeant King (Alex Mallari Jr.). King uses the newly released robotic K9s to track down Pav, while Connor finds himself once again asking Garrett and his team for help, but can he trust the man who put him in prison in the first place?
Jeff Chan returns to direct the sequel, from a script by Jeff, Chris Paré, Sherren Lee and Jesse Lavercombe. Stephen and Robbie, of course, serve as producers.
