Chrissy Teigen has revealed that her mother Vilailuck “Pepper” Teigen has moved back to Thailand.
The 38 year old man Chrissy and Dave go out to dinner The co-host shared the news while promoting her upcoming Freeform series, noting that this is the first time her family has actually revealed that her mother is gone.
Pepper has been living with Chrissy and her husband John Legend for several years, helping them take care of their children.

“She actually recently moved to Thailand,” Chrissy said on the SiriusXM show. The happy hour. “We haven’t really told the world or the Internet, and everyone will probably be very confused. Yes, you are destined to live your best life. She, you know, obviously loves taking care of her grandchildren. But seeing her every day at home doing that and being there with us was very special and amazing. But she is young enough to go out and be happy.”
Chrissy also shared that while her mother decided to return to Thailand, they are still close and stay in touch, FaceTiming every day. Pepper even controls them through the Nest camera!
The model and host added that she is happy for her mother and wants her to be happy.
“She has a group of friends that just changes, lights up when she sees them. And she didn’t see her light up as much, you know, without them,” Chrissy said. “And she needs to go look for love and find, you know, whatever she wants. She pretends that she doesn’t care about that kind of stuff and she only cares about her grandchildren and her friends. But I wanted that for her.”
Chrissy added that her mom is back where she grew up in Khorat, where she has a house, and they will be able to visit her every spring break!
