Chris Pratt Talks About Being The First Actor To Drop An F-Bomb In An MCU Movie

Chris Pratt is opening up about an MCU first.

The 43-year-old actor made an appearance on the red carpet for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, where he spoke in an interview with Extra about being the first actor to drop the F-bomb in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Chris admitted that saying the word was just an attempt to make the crew laugh.

“Often if you drop an F-bomb, you know it’s not going to make the cut, but you’re doing it to make people laugh, which is also an indication to let them know that you’re probably done with this scene,” he explained.

“Like, ‘We’ve beaten this thing to death, so I’m going to start dropping F-bombs,’ so you’re like, ‘Cut, let’s move on.’ But guess that? They put it in the movie.”

He also reflected on his role in the film.

“It’s hard to say exactly how this role changed my life…it just changed everything, it changed my career, it changed my life professionally, personally and financially. I’ve met some of the best friends I’ll ever meet. One day, I’ll be dead and gone, but this character I played will live forever.”
