Celine Dion hasn’t appeared in public for the past year due to health issues she just revealed. However, she did post a nice video in which she wishes everyone a Merry Christmas. The My Heart Will Go On singer recently revealed that she has Stiff Person Syndrome, or SPS. The disease attacks the nervous system and the autoimmune system, eventually paralyzing the person. Despite her diagnosis, Dion, 54, took to Instagram to wish her 5.4 million fans well in a multilingual video. She wishes everyone good health and happiness. She stated:
“I wish you love, happiness and good health.”
Dion’s heartfelt speech becomes even more emotional as she speaks in her mother tongue, which she shares with her French-Canadian background. Despite the fact that she is horribly degenerate, she still looks cheerful in a lavender white coat.

Celine Dion has decided to postpone the tour until 2023 after being sick
Celine Dion took to Instagram just two weeks ago to share the news of her diagnosis of Rigid Person Syndrome, which kept her from performing at her best. She said her illness was embarrassing and difficult to deal with, but she also regretted the result of having to cancel her 2023 tour date.
In an emotional video, the singer described how, although it affects one in a million people, the condition hasn’t been studied enough to find a cure. The singer said she has been battling the disease for a long time and that SPS affects her daily behavior. She stated:
“Although we are still working on this unusual disease, we do know that it is the cause of all the contractions I am having. Unfortunately, these spasms impair every area of my daily life, sometimes making it difficult for me to walk and preventing me from using my vocal cords to sing like I used to.”
Despite the bad news about her health, Celine Dion took to Instagram again to wish her fans a Merry Christmas. She used her Franco-Canadian heritage to translate people’s Christmas wishes into many languages.
She begins the video by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas in English and French. Celine wrote in the title of the post:
“Everybody should have a Merry Christmas. Happy holidays everyone.”
She postponed the trip due to the epidemic, and then again in January because of health problems. Celine Dion canceled eight concerts in the summer of 2023 after being diagnosed with a serious and incurable condition that caused intense muscle contractions. She indicated that her engagements in the spring of 2023 will take place in 2024.
