Celebrity IOU 2022 will premiere on HGTV on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 9/8. The upcoming season will feature inspiring new stories of appreciation and emotional renovations to the homes of Hollywood’s A-listers. Drew and Jonathan Scott, the show’s executive producers, will swing a sledgehammer and break walls alongside eight new celebrities in the upcoming season of Celebrity IOU. These celebrities will enlist the help of the Scott Brothers to renovate their loved ones’ homes as a way of expressing gratitude for being a part of their lives.
Cindy Crawford will appear in the first episode of Celebrity IOU.
Cindy Crawford, Drew Barrymore, Kate Hudson, Terry Crews, Wilmer Valderrama, Cheryl Hines, Idina Menzel and the late Leslie Jordan are among eight celebrities who will be participating in the Celebrity IOU. The first episode of IOU Celebrity will feature supermodel Cindy contacting the Scott brothers to help her best friend and longtime coach. The synopsis for the first episode titled The Cindy Crawford Super Makeover goes as follows:
“To kick off the new series, Cindy Crawford will thank Sarah, her best friend and personal trainer for more than 15 years, by presenting her with a remarkable restoration to her early home. home, including a luxury kitchen, living space and guest bathroom.”
Cindy wants to create a sanctuary for Sarah, who is suffering in her private life. Sarah saved up money to buy a house and remodel it, but had to spend it to pay for medical expenses when her husband was diagnosed with cancer. Cindy, who has been with Sarah through many ups and downs, is now rebuilding her home.
Jonathan told ET that he helps celebrities redecorate the homes of important people:
“It’s weird because some people say, ‘Well, my God, why didn’t these celebrities do this before?’ All these celebs haven’t stopped wanting to do something for these people for a long time, but when you consider the intricacies of rebuilding, it’s not something everyone can accept. receive.”
Then he said:
“We do this every day and it’s amazing to be able to step in and help, be a guide to change someone’s life, someone who has given so much.”

The Celebrity IOU episode will also feature the late comedian Leslie Jordon. The episode was filmed just a few days before his death. Leslie will surprise her friends of 40 years, Newell Alexander, 87, and Rosemary Alexander, 81, with a makeover of the house in the episode. Leslie talked about them in the video:
“They were always there for me.” I struggled with drinking and experimenting with drugs. I’ve been clean and sane for 25 years, but they also played a part in that because they never judged me.”
The new season of Celebrity IOU is not only filled with emotional moments, but also has many funny perspectives of the stars. Jonathan listed some of Kate, Drew and Terry’s fun moments on the show:
“When you see Kate Hudson kicking the barn wall, you know she’s a bad guy, and Drew Barrymore, who came in with a 40-page inspiration board and actually designed the whole thing on this spot. before I had a chance to do anything.”
He continued:
“So I turned around, and Drew and Terry darted off, all covered in grease in the yard of this place. Physically, I don’t have the muscles to do it here; I don’t even know how that’s possible!”
The new season of Celebrity IOU will premiere on HGTV on Monday, November 14 at 9/8. On the same day, the show is also available on Discovery+.
