The 44th season of Survivor will premiere on CBS on March 1 at 8:00 PM ET. The two-hour premiere special will introduce fans to 18 contestants from different backgrounds in the United States as they try to live in extreme conditions and complete different missions. Kane Fritzler, 25, is a law professor at the University of Saskatchewan. He is a high achieving student currently living in Saskatoon.

Kane Fritzler is a member of the Ratu clan in Season 44 of Survivor.
Kane Fritzler didn’t join the show to make a million dollars, but to grow as a person. Tyson Apostol, winner of Survivor: Blood vs. Water, who was an influencer on the show. In an interview with Global News, he said:
“I want to go out there and have a lot of fun, but I also want to play aggressively and make my mark in Survivor, so I’ll treat it like a Tyson game.”
Kane informed everyone that he was going to Vietnam and toured around the world while filming the show. He should have started work now, but he asked his superiors to postpone. Kane’s supervisor agreed, and soon he started doing “homework” for the gig. In the interview, he stated:
“I planned all the seasons I knew I wanted to see, and my partner, Kat, and I destroyed them. We binge-watch an unhealthy amount of Survivor.”
He has also practiced a lot and intends to recruit some “knowing allies”. Fritzler and his family will watch the show together when his grandmother visits. He hails from Moose Jaw, Canada and describes himself as “friendly, loud and energetic”. Fritzler currently works at Robertson Stromberg Barristers and Attorneys. He was named the best mediator at a national negotiation tournament held at a law school in Canada. According to his introductory video, law school taught him to be an effective mediator and bring positive energy to people.
The winner of Season 44 of the Survivor will earn a $1 million cash prize.
Season 44 will feature 18 castrated people competing in different missions for protection and rewards. They will be divided into three detachments and will have to live in harsh conditions, even fighting and searching for food. Each week, a “tribal panel” of contestants has a chance to eliminate one. The winner of the season, the sole survivor, will receive a cash prize of $1,000,000. Filmed in Fiji after March 2022.
Bruce Perreault, Carolyn Wiger, Carson Garrett, Helen Li, Sarah Wade and Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho will be at Tribal Tika. Claire Rafson, Danny Massa, Frannie Marin, Heidi Lagares-Greenblatt, Josh Wilder and Matt Blankinship make up Tribe Soka. Brandon Cotton, Jaime Lynn Ruiz, Kane Fritzler, Lauren Harpe, Maddy Pomilla and Matthew Grinstead-Mayle are members of the Tribe Ratu team.
According to CBS, the season is described as follows:
“The competitors are stranded on a remote island trying to live and work hard to earn the grand prize.”
Survivor airs every Wednesday at 8:00 PM ET on CBS. After the show aired on television, fans could watch it on Paramount Plus and the network’s website.
