Ashley Cooke’s

Ashley Cooke is a country singer-songwriter noted for her honest and real narrative in her songs. She grew up between the California and Florida coastlines. After hearing songs by Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia, Taylor Swift, and Rascal Flatts in high school, she got interested in country music. She began “performing music and creating songs” at the age of 11 and lived in 19 different houses before becoming 18 years old. She remarked about her path to Countryswag.com:

“Music was the one consistency I had while traveling around all the time.” I began creating songs as a coping strategy, and I’ve always enjoyed poetry. […] I began composing poetry in diaries and became preoccupied with lyrics, rhymes, rhyming, and that kind of thing.”

Ashley Cooke

Cooke studied communications and marketing at Belmont University, where she won the Country Showcase competition. Her victory put her in an exclusive group of victors that included Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, Brad Paisley, Chris Young, and others. Cooke launched her first album, Already Drank That Beer, Side A, in August 2021, and it quickly became a fan favorite. The country artists are getting ready to perform their songs on The Bachelorette season 19. Watch their appearance on the program on Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
