Lisa Marie Presley, a famous singer and songwriter, died on January 12 at the age of 54 after a heart attack. Her mother, Priscilla, confirmed the news and said:
“She is the most passionate, strong and kind woman I have ever met. We want privacy as we try to deal with this tragic loss. Thank you for your support and prayers. There will be no further comment at this time.”
On Facebook, actress Leah Remini paid tribute to Lisa by posting a photo and writing:

On Thursday, paramedics rushed to Lisa’s home when she suffered a heart attack. Her ex-husband, Danny Keough, returned home from dropping the kids off at school and found her in a coma in her bedroom. Danny performed CPR until paramedics arrived. Lisa was immediately hospitalized after an injection of epinephrine. Since Thursday morning, she complains of stomach pains that are getting worse.
