Brett Favre has a bold warning for Taylor Swift. The former quarterback fears Kansas City fans will blame her if the team doesn’t make the Super Bowl.
“If they don’t win it,” Favre said, speaking to TMZ, “or they don’t make it to the Super Bowl, people will say, ‘That’s why.'”
Swift has proven to be a controversial figure in recent NFL games. The singer’s involvement has been widely covered by the media, drawing hatred from some NFL fans. They see Swift as a distraction from the chefs and her achievements.
However, Swift doesn’t mind controversy or being the center of attention. The singer said that she is there to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce. In an interview with Time magazine, she avoided controversy.
“I’m just there to support Travis,” he said. “I’m not aware of whether they’re showing me too much and bothering some parents, Brads and Chads.”
Still, that hasn’t stopped Swift’s appearances from becoming a media circus. For example, Travis Kelce’s mother recently had to dodge questions about Swift and her playoff plans.
“I’m not playing that game,” he said, noting that he’s not sitting with Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany. “No, she won’t be there. She has her own box.”

So for the last quarter and a half, there have been people (watching) here and I said, ‘Man, they must love Jason Garrett.’ Everyone points their camera at our booth to take a picture of Jason . And then about 10 minutes ago, it was like, ‘Hey, dummy, they’re taking a picture of Taylor.'”
Golden Globes host Jo Koy may have faced the biggest backlash amid the conversation about Swift and the NFL. A failed joke at the ceremony and Swift’s cold reaction sparked controversy for the comedian.
“As you know, we arrived after a double football game,” he said at the ceremony. “The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? At the Golden Globes we have less camera shots of Taylor Swift, I swear.”
