When authorities asked Rowbotham what he thought happened to Dameron, he said he didn’t think Dameron was actually missing or that his parents had no idea where he was.
Police also received information that Dameron’s mother’s boyfriend claimed that he killed her, but they have yet to confirm this story and have not named any suspects in her disappearance. She is considered vulnerable because of her transgender identity and her case remains unresolved.
