Atif Aslam is a Pakistani playback singer and actor. He is known for his vocal belting technique. Atif has given many hit songs which are famous not only in Pakistan but also in India and he has given his voice in many Bollywood songs.

Atif Aslam was born on 12 March 1983 (age 40 years; as in 2023) in Wazirabad City, Punjab, Pakistan. His zodiac sign is Pisces. He started his Kindergarten education from Kimberly Hall School, Lahore. When he moved to Rawalpindi, he studied at St. Paul’s Cambridge School, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi. On his return to Lahore, he continued his studies at the Divisional Public School. He started his FSC from Fazaiya Inter College, Lahore. He joined the Punjab Institute of Computer Science (PICS), Lahore, to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

He started his career in 2002 as the lead singer of a band called “Jal”. Atif earned much of his fame through the band. The band initially found commercial success in 2003 with the song “Habit”.

  • Atif Aslam faced massive backlash from the audience after singing the Bollywood song “Tera Hone Laga Hoon” from the film “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani” at the Pakistan Independence Day Parade in New York. In his response to the haters who trolled him for singing an Indian song at Pakistan’s Independence Day parade, he posted a picture of him on Instagram with the words ‘No Chance to Give Up’ and wrote that he loves his haters. He further added that he is a representative of his country’s flag and his fans know how much he respects it.   • It was on the sets of a singing reality show “Sur Kshetra”, in which teams from India and Pakistan, captained by Atif Aslam and Himesh Reshammiya respectively, were competing against each other; Asha Bhosle was judging the show along with Abida Parveen and Runa Laila.
