Ariana Biermann, the daughter of reality star Kim Zolciak-Biermann, was taken into custody at 1 a.m. Saturday, August 13, for allegedly intoxicated driving. According to TMZ, the 20-year-old was booked into Forsyth County Jail for “Drunk Driving, Inappropriate/Improper Lane Change, and Light Possession/Purchasing of Alcohol.” According to reports, the star has been released on bail of $5,120 with a court date, but she denies the charges and plans to fight them.
Kim Zolciak, Ariana’s mother, rose to fame when she first appeared on The Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2008. Kim is married to Kroy Evan Biermann, a former American soccer player.

Ariana Biermann plans to protect her DUI charges
Ariana Biermann’s team said the influencer was involved in a “minor collision with the bumper” on Saturday and intends to contest the allegations. Their attorney, Justin Spizman, stated:
“Ariana was involved in a minor car accident. When the police arrived, the investigator immediately opened a DUI investigation. Although Ariana repeatedly stated that she was very upset and worried about the minor collision, the officer mistakenly concluded that she was drunk.”
He continued:
“That’s not true. She categorically denies these claims and plans to defend them because she is not responsible for them.”
Ariana is believed to have been joined at the time of the incident by her friend, Hudson McLeroy. Hudson was also charged with “drunk driving, underage drinking and violating the conditions of his restricted driver’s license.” He was believed to be in the passenger seat when authorities arrested them. Hudson was also released on bail, TMZ reported.
