Apple TV+ increases subscription prices by 43%

Apple TV+ users will soon experience a significant price increase.

The streamer is increasing its subscription fee by 43%, or from $6.99 a month to $9.99 a month, a year after the streaming service had its first price increase from $4.99 a month.

An annual subscription to Apple TV+ will now cost $99, down from $69 previously, through TVLine.

Additionally, subscription prices are increasing for Apple Arcade (now $6.99/month, no change to annual plan), Apple News+ (now $12.99/month), and Apple One (now $19.95/individual, $25, 95/family and $37.95/Premier) in the United States starting Wednesday (October 25) and select international markets.

Existing subscribers will see these price increases 30 days later, on their next renewal date.

“We are focused on delivering the best possible experiences to our customers by constantly adding high-quality entertainment, content and innovative features to our services,” Apple said in a statement.

“Since its launch four years ago, Apple TV+ has made streaming history by surpassing important milestones in a short period of time, thanks to its wide selection of award-winning and widely acclaimed series, feature films, documentaries and entertainment for children and families. . .”
