- In 2006, Antara talked about the time when she received the National Bravery Award at the home of President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam for saving her mother from thieves who had broken into her house and took her mother’s locker. Threatened to hand over the keys. In the interview, she told that as soon as she realized that she was being robbed, she quietly went to her bedroom and called the police station. He later explained the situation to his father who was out for work. After this she started shouting for help from the window of her room. The watchman heard his voice and came to his rescue with two constables. In the interview he further said,
The whole incident happened within 10 minutes and I think it changed me forever.
- In an interview in 2022, he talked about the health of his father, who was admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Delhi after suffering a heart attack. In the interview he said,
My father has been traveling regularly to Delhi and other places across the country for work. He makes sure to exercise in the gym every day and never skips his workout. He was absolutely fine and had no heart disease, so this is very surprising. There has been neither any improvement in his condition nor has his condition worsened. The entire medical team is trying its best. We are praying and hoping that he gets well soon. My mother is with him right now inside the ICU.
