It seems that most of the cast was satisfied with the end of the third season of Ted Lasso.
During the weekend’s FYC event in Los Angeles, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple and Phil Dunster spoke about the finale and whether there was any chance of continuing the show.

Speaking to THR, Phil recalled the WhatsApp group chat after receiving the script.
“…Everyone was saying, ‘You bastards, you made me cry,’ and it was so sad. “It’s like being in school, and when school ends, suddenly you’re trying to capture every moment, and there was a lot of mutual understanding, everything was consensual,” she shared.
Cristo Fernández added that “he had tears in his eyes. When we were filming it, he had a lot more tears in his eyes, and then when I saw him, there were a lot more tears.”
As for whether they could continue properly if the show was suspended for another season, Hannah mused, “You could say the same thing about your own life. “There are several different routes something could have taken.”
“There are a lot of variables, so where we have left them for now, with the possibility of where Keeley will go, where Rebecca will go with the Dutchman, where Ted will meet with Michelle, we left them. Each of them has gone through a different door, does that mean the door is closed behind them? Who knows?”
Jeremy Swift later added that the season finale felt like a good, satisfying series finale: “This successfully completed things as promised in a three-season arc, but it was still ahead of you and it did so in a way unexpected, and there were fantastic lines and great comedy and, of course, great heart.”
Ted Lasso Stars Stephen Manas, James Lance, Charlie Hiscock, David Elsendoorn, Kola Bokinni, Annette Badland, Moe Jeudy-Lamour and Billy Harris were also at the event.
