Anna Nicole Smith did not expect to meet her biological father as it happened.
The late star appears in a new documentary. Anna Nicole Smith: You don’t know me, which was released by Netflix this week. Anna’s girlfriend, Melissa “Missy” Byrum, says the incident occurred when Anna met with her biological father, Donald Hogan, and her half-brother, Donnie Hogan.
“She told me that her father had tried to have sex with her,” Missy said. “I was very sad to see that. She was so disappointed.”
Keep reading to know more…Anna was raised by her mother and was separated from Donald Hogan, who lived approximately 100 miles away from them. She had hired a private detective to track down her father.
The incident took place in 1993, after Anna had won the coveted title of Playboy’s Playmate of the Year. Anna brought her father and her brother, Donnie, to join her in celebrating at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles.
While Donnie initially denied the incident occurred, he said he couldn’t say for sure what happened.
“My father is not the type of person you want to be alone with. You’re not going to feel safe,” says Donnie of Hogan, who died in September 2009. “He’s a monster.”
“I wouldn’t let it go. I guess I wasn’t there the whole time, so it could be true.”
Donald Hogan died in 2009.
In the documentary, it was also revealed that Anna missed out on an acting job that turned into a breakout role for another actress.
