Trump was found responsible for defaming the journalist and author and for sexually abusing her, but not for rape.

As a result, E. Jean Carroll received $5 million in damages.

If she didn’t know, she sued Trump for assault and defamation, alleging that he raped her in 1996 in the dressing room of a Manhattan department store. She claimed that she was attacked by Trump after they met at the store and shopped together.

Trump has maintained that his accusation was just a “hoax”, stating that he would not have raped her because she was not his type.

Although Trump never appeared in court during the trial, in his statement he called E. Jean Carroll a “crackpot” and “crazy.”

Janice Dickinson talks about an experience she had while attending a dinner party in Trump’s limousine.
