Ankur Rathee was born on Sunday, 24 march 1991 (age 29 years; as in 2020) in Hisar, Haryana. His zodiac sign is Aries.

Ankur attended Pune’s The Bishop’s School. At the age of 8, Ankur started learning different dance styles including Bollywood, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, and Acrobatic adage. Subsequently, he started performing in musical theatre and also developed an interest in singing and acting.

After completing his schooling, Ankur enrolled himself in University of Southern California to pursue a course in cinematography & film production. Thereafter, he went to Princeton University where he got trained under theatre artists like John Rando, Leigh Silverman, and Christina Lazaridi. In 2015, Ankur moved to New-York and became a dance faculty member at “Steps on Broadway.” As a part of the theatre group, Ankur gave some notable performances including “Jade Emperor,” “Journey Beyond the West,” “Between the Tigris and the Euphrates,” and “My Heart is in the East.”

He made his acting debut in 2014 with the film, “100: The Tribute.”
