On 13 July 2015, he got engaged to Indian TV actor Shubhi. In an interview, Anirudh talked about Subuhi, his co-star in the Hindi TV serial ‘Bandhan’ (2014). He said,
We never talked outside the scene on the sets of Bandhan. Coincidentally, her mother knew my parents as they are in the education department in Rajasthan… through some of Shubhi’s relatives in Delhi, conversations started and ended in engagement. I got engaged on 13th July. I think matches are made in heaven.”

The couple tied the knot on 24 November 2015 in Jaipur. Reportedly, Anirudh wore a sherwani weighing 32 kg (71 lb) on his wedding day. In 2021, the couple had a child named Anishq.

Dave started his career as a theater artist. He has performed in various theater plays including Rashomon (by Akiro Kurosawa; International), Haye Mera Dil (with Ranveer Singh), Man Without Shadow, and Jaat Na Poochho Sadhu. In 2008, he debuted with the Hindi TV serial ‘Rajkumar Aryan’, in which he played the role of Rajkumar Aryan.
After this, she appeared in many Hindi TV serials like ‘Woh Rahen Waali Mahalon Ki’ (2009), ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’ (2013), ‘Yaaro Ka Tashan’ (2016), ‘Patiala Babes’ (2018), ‘Lockdown Ki Love’. Seen in. Kahaani’ (2020), and ‘Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’ (2021).

- While shooting a scene for the film ‘Shorgul’ (2016), he dived 120 feet into a river in Lucknow. He talked about this scene in an interview. He said,
There is a scene in the film where I have to dive from a height and after the dive take a dip in the water. I was confident and have taken safety measures. I am an actor who believes in perfection and I want to achieve it with a lot of practice. If I am new to something, I make it perfect with my practice and focus. So I applied the same thing this time also.”

- On 23 April 2021, he tested positive for COVID-19 while he was shooting in Bhopal. Later his condition became critical and he was admitted to the ICU. During treatment, it was found that his lungs were 85 percent infected. After a few days, he started recovering and shared an Instagram post thanking his well-wishers. He has written,
Thank you my dear friends, it seems such a small word! I have been able to feel the love, care, blessings, prayers of all of you for the last 22 days on the hospital bed.. I am on constant oxygen support.. but the courage I have got is a huge credit… After 14 days, I am a little better now outside the ICU. There is 85% infection, it will take time. there’s no rush. Just have to breathe on my own… see you soon.. being emotional drains my saturation.. I know everything will be fine soon… this too shall pass. Lots of love. Keep praying for Prem Anirudh,” the caption is written in Hindi with a few words in English.
