In 2015, he participated in the 59th National Shooting Championship (Shotgun) held in Jaipur, Rajasthan. He defeated two national champions Man Singh and Mairaj Ahmed Khan. In 2015, Ananthjit scored 110 and 12 in the junior men’s skeet category at the 7th International Junior Shotgun Cup held in Orimatila, Finland. For the Indian team, Anantjit Singh Naruka, Angadvir Bajwa and Arjun Mann scored 110, 119 and 102 runs respectively. In the same year, Ananth participated in the second ISSF Junior Cup tournament held in Suhl, Germany. In 2021, he competed at the 64th National Shooting Championship held in Patiala, Punjab, India.

  • Anantjit Singh Naruka’s personal coach has always been his father Dalpat Singh Naruka. He used to go to Jagatpura shooting range with his father and learn shooting techniques from him. Ananth and his father started traveling 130 km every day to the Oasis Shooting Range in Jaipur for his training. Anant’s family belonged to the royal family of Uniara in Tonk district of Rajasthan, so he was always surrounded by guns. His grandfather was also a shooter.
