All About Nancy Pelosi’s Husband- Paul Pelosi

Nancy Pelosi, the current Speaker of the US House of Representatives, rarely agreed with former US President Donald Trump. Paul Pelosi was born in 1940 and grew up in San Francisco. He headed to Georgetown University to study Foreign Service, and it was during his time there that he met Nancy. At the time, Nancy was studying at Trinity College in Washington DC. Paul and Nancy were married in 1963 and lived in New York until 1969 when Paul completed his studies at New York University.

Nancy had her first child in 1964, and by the end of 1960, the couple had five children. Nancy Corrine, Christine, Jacqueline, Paul and Alexandra were born in six years. Raising five children at the same time was a struggle, but Paul and Nancy managed to do it successfully. Paul and Nancy currently have nine grandchildren.

Her actions in the stock market have led to accusations of insider trading against Nancy Pelosi.

In July 2021, Paul made a profit of $5.3 million on Alphabet stock. Pelosi’s windfall came a week before the House Judiciary Committee voted to push through the Platform Monopolies Termination Act.

The law is supposed to regulate the powers of big tech companies. Paul Pelosi dutifully filed a financial disclosure signed by Nancy Pelosi stating that he earned $4.8 million from Alphabet stock, which had since risen to $5.3 million.

Paul also stated that he had purchased call options for NVIDIA, Amazon, and Apple, but had not exercised them. “The speaker has no involvement in or prior knowledge of these transactions,” Nancy Pelosi’s spokesperson said via email.

So far, Nancy Pelosi has not been found guilty of helping her husband’s business by providing him with non-public information. However, Twitter has been much less forgiving.
