Alec Baldwin knocks the phone out of Heckler’s hand in the coffee shop after being asked ‘Why did you kill that lady?’

Unable to maintain his composure, Alec Baldwin was recorded taking a phone out of a caller’s hand during a recent visit to a coffee shop.

In the video, Baldwin is seen talking on the phone when the caller approached to originally ask the actor to say “Free Palestine.”

Then they asked: “Why did you kill that lady and not get imprisoned? No jail, Alec? No jail, Alec. You’re imprisoning innocent people, Alec Baldwin. “Free Palestine.”

They were referring to Haylna Hutchins, the director of photography who died on the set of Oxide when the actor’s prop gun was fired. Baldwin claims he did not know the gun was loaded at the time and allegedly pointed it at Hutchins. Both Hutchins and the film’s director, Joel Souza, were hit by the bullet. Souza survived.

As he left the cafeteria, the interlocutor continued asking Alec Baldwin if he would say “Free Palestine.” Baldwin, who asked cafeteria employees to call police, held the front door open for the heckler and told them to leave. He also repeatedly claimed that the interlocutor was harassing him.

“You know he’s a criminal,” the interlocutor said to the cafe employee who approached them. “Come on, Alec. Just say “Free Palestine” once. Once. Just once. Please and I will leave you alone.”

After Baldwin refused to say “Free Palestine,” the interlocutor continued to repeat the statement. Noticeably done with the situation, the actor walked away from the front door and asked, “Can you do me a quick favor?” and he took the phone out of the hand of the one he was interrupting.

The incident at Alec Baldwin’s cafeteria occurred days after the ‘Rust’ gunsmith was sentenced for a fatal shooting on the set

The interaction between Alec Baldwin and the hecker occurred a few days later. Oxide Gunsmith Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was sentenced for the fatal on-set shooting.

As previously reported, Gutierrez-Reed was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to 18 months in prison.

According to witnesses, the weapon in question was among those previously used by Oxide crew members hours before filming. The crew members shot beet cans with live ammunition and returned the gun after lunch.

However, Gutierrez-Reed did not check the gun to ensure that the live ammunition was removed before bringing it back to the set. While he was holding the gun, Alec Baldwin said he simply shot himself.

During the sentencing hearing, Judge Mary Marlowe accused Gutierrez-Reed of failing to take any responsibility for his actions. “You said you were sorry, but no. [that] “You regretted what you did,” the judge stated.

The judge then said Gutierrez-Reed single-handedly turned a safe weapon into a deadly weapon. He then said that if it weren’t for him Oxide gunsmith, Hutchins would still be alive. “A husband would have his partner and a child would have his mother.”

Gutierrez-Reed’s attorney, Jason Bowles, said he plans to appeal.

Alec Baldwin has also been charged with involuntary manslaughter and will appear in court this summer. He has pleaded not guilty.
