Ehaan was inclined towards acting since childhood. As a child, he used to watch a lot of movies and imitate their characters in front of his friends and cousins. He studied engineering in Delhi for some time and soon realized that he was interested in acting. He left the course for acting. Ehan took acting training from Bernard Hiller at the Bernard Hiller Acting Studio in Los Angeles. In 2015, he auditioned for the Hindi film 99 Songs and was selected to play the lead role in the film.
