On 6 January 2021, Abhidanya married Mehul Pai; He is a college friend whom she had known for the last 15 years. Mehul is an entrepreneur. Mehul was diagnosed with cancer just a few months after marriage. Discussing this in an interview, Abhigyan said,
It was terrifying because you wouldn’t even dream of such a thing. Physically, it was horrible, I can’t express in words how I felt. It was very scary. I think it broke me in a way that really made me realize how much I had stopped being grateful for the little things that I have. It tested our thinking, our positivity, our faith. Having said that, it also broke my trust in God.”
Mehul has now recovered and is living a healthy and happy life with Abhigyan.
