Zubair Khan was born on 25 August 1987 (31 years; age as 2018) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Zubair struggled a lot during his youth. He was born in a poor family and to support his family financially, Khan used to sell ice-candy at Pahlaj Nihalani’s theatre, Nishat. Nonetheless, he wished to live a luxurious life in the future. Zubair entered the film production business. Reportedly, Zubair Khan claimed to be the son-in-law of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parker. On the season 11 premiere of Bigg Boss, Zubair mentioned that despite being from a family with connections to the underworld, he is the only one to bring his existence to the public. Even while being on the show, he claimed that it was Hasina Parker and her family who had forcibly married his daughter. Apparently Zubair wants people to know him because of his films and his work and not because of his links with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s family. Later, reports emerged in which Zubair claimed that he was not related to Haseena Parker in any way and further said that his mother-in-law’s name is Noorjahan.

Zubair Khan is a filmmaker (director, producer) and works in the Indian film industry. He has a production house named ‘Garbage’, which he runs with his partner Chandrapal Singh. Khan was noticed for his film ‘Laqueer Ka Fakir’ (2013), which starred former Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz Khan. He produced and directed the film.
Some reports also claimed that Zubair Khan initially worked as an executive producer for Balaji Telefilms. Along with being a producer-director, he also claimed to be a journalist.
He participated in Bigg Boss Season 11 but was eliminated in the first week itself.

Controversy
- Zubair Khan was arrested by Mumbai Police in February 2018 in an extortion case. He was a member of the gang that had threatened a Mumbai-based businesswoman and tried to extort ₹1 crore from her.
