When I was planning my trip back to America, a friend of mine who was associated with 3 Idiots told me about a role for which they were auditioning NRI actors. Considering that I don’t speak Hindi or watch Bollywood movies, I had no interest in auditioning. On top of that, this role had not even been written yet. In the audition, I had to recite lines from the film Lage Raho Munna Bhai. I was very bold and careless while saying the lines because I didn’t think I was going to get this role. I was offered the role when I was driving home from the audition.
