Yugendran, also known as Yugendran Vasudevan, is an Indian Singaporean actor, singer, host and music director. He has lent his voice to Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam songs. In 2023, he participated as a contestant in the Tamil version of the reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss’ Season 7, which aired on Star Vijay and streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.

Yugendran Vasudevan was born on Monday, 20 December 1976 (age 46 years; as in 2023) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Their zodiac sign is Sagittarius. From 2015 to 2016, he pursued a Diploma in Film and Television Production from the Singapore Media Academy. He started his musical journey as a mridangist and performed solo for the first time at the age of 10.

His father, Malaysia Vasudevan, was a famous Tamil playback singer and actor of Malaysian origin, who died on 20 February 2011. His mother’s name was Usha. She has two sisters named Pavithra and Prashanthini, who is a Tamil playback singer.

Some of the Singaporean TV shows he produced under Rambutan Media Works include ‘Andrendrum Punnagai,’ ‘Solathan Ninaikiren’ (a talk show), and ‘Vidumurai Vasantham’ (a holiday variety programme).
