A woman thought she was being clever by mixing several tanning lotions, but the green The end result was certainly not what I expected.
BobbieJo Houston, a 39-year-old mother, was looking for a natural-looking tan when she decided to use several homemade tanning lotions. What she thought would give her a sun-kissed glow actually made her green.
Apparently, Houston thought it wouldn’t hurt to apply a mix of Bondi Sands, St. Moriz, St. Tropez tanning drops and a Molly-mae filter tanner.
“I think it will be a nice color in the morning,” he said in his original video.
However, the combination did not achieve the look I was looking for.
“Everything went completely wrong,” he said in his update video. “I’m getting greener by the hour.”
“I’m praying there isn’t a green tinge left yet [after I wash it off]”he said on his TikTok. “I’m a stuck-up green guy.”

Houston, who is from the United Kingdom, explained that she left off the tanning lotions thinking she would wake up looking like a tanned goddess. However, she was horrified when she looked in the mirror the next morning.
“I’m getting scared,” he said while rubbing his face. “I didn’t think this would happen.”
Not only was she now green, but Houston also said she had a public outing to attend with her 19-year-old daughter later that day, one that involved many other people.
“I wouldn’t have left it like this for so long… when I have somewhere to go,” he complained.
Countless TikTok users trolled Houston in the comments of her videos, writing messages like “You look like Ross from Friends. If you know, you know hahaha” and “Precious, come fly with me.”
Later that same day, she shared another update with her face looking much less green.
“My hands are a little bad, but other than the hands, it’s actually okay… I’m not orange,” he said. “I can’t believe it was washed. “I panicked.”
