Fans were in for a big surprise while watching Eurovision this weekend: Kate Middleton playing the piano!
The Princess of Wales appeared on the show, showcasing her musical abilities, as part of a pre-recorded introduction for the final performances, according to People.
Kate was heard performing a bit of “Stefania,” from the Kalush Orchestra’s winning performance from the previous year.
“It’s my pleasure to join @kalush.official in a special performance of last year’s @eurovision winning entry,” the princess shared with a sneak peek of her appearance on Instagram.
In addition to the Princess of Wales, the segment featured Andrew Lloyd Webber, Ms Banks and Joss Stone, among others.
If you’re wondering, Kate is a grade three piano and grade five theory in her studies. She previously accompanied pop star Tom Walker on piano during a Christmas carol service she presented at Westminster Abbey in 2021.
Kate recently joined her husband, Prince William, and their three children, Princes George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte, for the Big Help event, which took place just days after King Charles III’s coronation.
