Rapphahn said People He turned around “just in time” to see the accident and estimates that Treat was thrown about 15 feet after his motorcycle collided with my 2008 Honda Element.
“I ran towards [Treat], and then I ran back to the shop and called 911,” said Rapphahn, owner of a local body shop. He said the driver of the Element also got out to “comfort” Treat.
Rapphahn shared: “It was hard to know [it was Treat] with the helmet on but [the driver] “He knows him, he knew him, and he was like, ‘Oh my God, it’s Treat.'”
“Emergency responders were asking him questions,” Rapphahn said, adding that he seemed “in a lot of pain.”
“But they had to lift him onto the board to put him on the stretcher and then into the ambulance,” the witness added.
Our continued thoughts are with Treat Williams’ friends, family and loved ones during this time. RIP.
