During an interview with Netflix’s Tudum, Laurie revealed that she’s not saying never to a spinoff.

“I’m definitely taking a break and thinking about other things,” she shared about what was next for her after the end of the four-season series.

However, she points out that “Moordale is a really rich world, and writing about teenagers is always a lot of fun. So, I think that there’s always potential for more to be explored in that world.”

Sex Education season four will bring back original stars Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa and Emma Mackey, as well as Aimee Lou Wood, Dua Saleh, Mimi Keene, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Chinenye Ezeudu and Gillian Anderson. Dan Levy has also joined the show.

The new season will premiere on September 21.
