Will Smith suited up and went all out for a retro Coachella performance that left ’90s kids everywhere speechless.
On Sunday, April 14, the 55-year-old actor and hip-hop icon brought out the cool factor by crashing J Balvin’s festival concert as Agent J of men in black. He wasn’t there just to show off the neuralizer; She played the iconic song from the hit 1997 movie.
Will Smith made a dramatic entrance during Balvin’s UFO-themed set, emerging from under the stage. Dressed in a familiar black suit and sunglasses, he electrified the crowd with a shout of “Coachella!” just when he started the track.

Big Willie began rapping the lyrics to the popular song while Balvin, 38, stood next to him center stage. As the song approached its iconic dance break, they performed the choreography in perfect synchronization, accompanied by backup dancers dressed as agents and aliens.
The alien head alone would have made this geeky writer scream “Alien head, you changed my life!” However, seeing Will Smith dressed in his Agent J gear on stage at Coachella would have put my eyes into goggles mode with pure nostalgia.
In fact, J Balvin must have felt the same as me, as he couldn’t contain his excitement and hugged the veteran rapper during the performance.

The exciting finale showed Balvin being playfully carried off the stage by dancers. Meanwhile, Smith brandished a ‘Neuralyzer,’ the film’s iconic memory-wiping device, and waved it toward the audience.
Fortunately, footage of the paranormal performance made its way to X (formerly Twitter), so mind-wiped audience members can still relive the experience.

Of course, X’s denizens devoured the nostalgic performance faster than ET can inhale Reese’s Pieces.
“This is a classic”, a Big Willie lover wrote. “Pure joy watching this. I love this movie and I will watch it tomorrow. This movie and the Wild West?!?! “Will Smith DID THAT,” a second fan added.
Another fan noted how spot on Will’s science still is. “Will Smith is in great lyrical form!” they gushed.
However, one X user (and party pooper) wondered if the young Zoomers present even understood the reference. “Only people from the late 20th century understand this. “Little kids like this,” they said. joked.
