ABC The view is arguably one of the biggest daytime talk shows of all time. On March 26, one of the show’s hosts, Whoopi Goldberg, had a viral moment.
One of the audience members was recording the footage on a personal device and Goldberg noticed. That’s when he stood up from his seat to confront the audience member.
“Sir, I have to stop you with the camera because I can see you,” he told the audience member. “So do me a favor, don’t take it out again.” A representative for the show told PEOPLE that audience members are told before the show that they cannot take photos or record video.

Whoopi Goldberg’s Oscar included a friendly bet
Whoopi Goldberg is perhaps the film’s most decorated cast member. She has won an Emmy, an Oscar, a Grammy and a Tony throughout her career. Fellow actress Annett Bening revealed that before Goldberg won her Oscar for the film “Ghost” in 1991, there was a friendly bet involved.
“We got together in a small group and said, ‘Okay, let’s all have dinner next week and whoever wins will pay.’ And so Whoopi Goldberg won. [for Ghost]Bening said.
“He sent each of us a flower arrangement and a card that said, ‘See you at such-and-such restaurant next week at a certain time.’ And we all showed up, had dinner, and she gave us a chocolate Oscar and a gardenia.”
‘The View’ host ‘feels horrible’ after Kate Middleton news
Last week, Princess of Wales Kate Middleton revealed that she has been battling cancer. This came after a mysterious disappearance from the public eye following surgery in January. Kate’s absence sparked speculation about her well-being. People even called the search “Kate Gate.” Additionally, others commented on her physical appearance after being spotted at a farmers market earlier this month.
But after her diagnosis, one of “The View” co-hosts feels guilty.
“I’m guilty of having fun with ‘Where’s Kate?’ and think it’s funny and share the memes and play with it. And I forgot something fundamental.
We all know that every person, whether it’s a princess, someone in a very privileged position, or just the person next to you, is dealing with personal struggles that we don’t know about. Sending you my love and strength,” said co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin.
“Sure, the Palace totally mishandled the public relations of this, but the public handled it badly. I did not think [that] There’s something more serious here that you’re dealing with. “I feel very bad about that.”
