fans of The view have speculated about the retirement of moderator Whoopi Goldberg. But according to Goldberg, she’s not going anywhere just yet.
Goldberg, 67, who has starred on the talk show for 16 years, shared his thoughts on retirement and what he has planned for the future.
In an interview with The US SunGoldberg explained, “I haven’t done anything but retire. I’ve been retired my whole career, so I like that, yeah.”
She continued: “I have a contract. As long as I fulfill the contract, no one gets angry.”
Goldberg is known for taking Fridays off from work while her co-hosts Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, Alyssa Farah Griffin and Sara Haines take over.
“But I’ve been free on Fridays for years because when we normally did it, I would go to work and do shows or whatever because I could travel on Fridays.”
We love a good four-day work week too, Whoopi!
