Love is Blind is set to return with another exciting season this week, featuring 30 individuals who want to explore love in an unusual way. The delegation will include 15 men and 15 women getting to know each other through the middle partition. Wendi Kong, an aeronautical engineer from Seattle, is one of the women scheduled to appear on the show.

“Love Is Blind” season 4 contestant Wendi Kong volunteers at BOK Ranch
The actress attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2017, where she studied materials science and chemical engineering, and was a member of the women’s senior tennis team, Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity and MIT FSAE. She also assists at BOK Ranch, a rehabilitation horse training center for physically and mentally challenged young adults.
During her tenure at the institute, she served as a fellow for three months in 2014, followed by nine months at the MIT Energy Initiative in a similar role. She then worked as a lecturer at MIT’s Global Teaching Laboratory before working as a nanocomposite intern for INL – International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory in Braga, Portugal. The Love is Blind Season 4 contestant also worked at MIT DMSE, 3M and Primus Power before joining Northrop Grumman, where she held various positions.
Wendi started at the company as an F-35 process and materials engineer, then as a production engineer and F-35 production engineer for a total of three years. Wendi was then hired as a manufacturing engineer at Blue Origin in 2020, where she stayed for two years before moving to Amazon, where she worked as a aerospace hardware manufacturing engineer since February 2022.
She hopes to meet interesting people and maybe find love while participating in Netflix’s matchmaking program. Wendi wanted a companion that “radiated compassion, commitment, and energy” so she could keep up with her on the hiking trail or in the gym.
She stated in her Netflix bio:

Irina Solomonova, Marshall Glaze, Bliss, Kwame Appiah, Micah Lussier, Zack Goytowski, Jackelina Bonds, Brett Brown, April King, Ava Van Jenson, Brandie Bowman, Chris Clemens, Chelsea Griffin, Connon Fremmerlid, Jack Bonner, Jimmy Forde and Josh Demas was among others who followed her on the show.
Amber Wilder, Juan Johnson, Quincy, Paul, Josh JP Schultz, Kacia, Kendra, Molly, Monica, Tiffany, Bill and Ryland will also appear in the fourth season of Love is Blind. Season 4 of Love is Blind will premiere on Netflix on Friday, March 24, at 3:01 a.m. ET.
